Ordering Online Is Safe

We take the utmost care with the information you provide when you place an order on our web site (or by any other means!).

The server that hosts our shopping cart encrypts the transmission of all credit card and personal customer information using the Internet-standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol, from end to end. (When you're on a secure page, the lock icon at the bottom of Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer is locked.)

During the encryption process, information is scrambled into small bits of code that cannot be read as they travel to us over the internet. Once we receive the encrypted information, Brookes uses a private, one-of-a-kind key to decode it.

Once we receive your order, all of your information is restricted in our offices, and we keep all of our employees up-to-date with our security and privacy practices. For more details, please see our privacy policy.

If you have questions about the safety of ordering online at Brookes, please direct them to our webmaster.
