Maria Gallagher, M.Ed.
Maria Gallagher, M.Ed., is an Early Childhood Specialist with the Fairfax County Office for Children in Virginia. She has fifteen years experience researching, planning and providing courses to family child care providers, teachers, and directors in a wide variety of early childhood topics. She has recently developed an extensive curriculum for teaching emerging literacy as part of an Early Learning Opportunities Act (ELOA) grant. Ms. Gallagher has also served as a child care center director for the Department of Army Child Development Services in Heidelberg, Germany. She earned her Masters in Early Childhood Education from Boston University. |
