Kristie Pretti-Frontczak, Ph.D.
Kristie Pretti-Frontczak, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Foundation and Special Services at Kent State University. Dr. Pretti-Frontczak received her doctorate in early intervention from the University of Oregon and has extensive experience in preparing preservice and inservice personnel to use an activity-based approach to working with young children and their families. She also directs the Early Childhood Intervention Specialist Program at Kansas State University where she teaches preservice educators to work with children from birth to age eight. Dr. Pretti-Frontczak frequently provides instruction and technical assistance to programs nationwide that use AEPS® and Activity-Based Intervention (ABI). Her line of research also centers on the treatment validity of the AEPS® and efficacy of ABI. |
